REASONS TO SELECT NORTH CITY PRESCHOOL

Strong focus on Child Development - Our child-oriented classrooms practice learning-through-interaction in a nurturing and safe environment. Our goal is to encourage your child to grow in his or her relationship to God, self, and others. Activities include Bible stories, academic readiness, pre-reading skills, literature, math, science, art, music, and nature. Our staff emphasizes the development of Bible-based character traits, social skills, virtue, and manners.

Excellent Teachers - Our educated, highly- trained, experienced, and devoted teachers express love and concern for all of the children in their care. Our director’s nearly 20 years of experience working with preschool children, brings proven experience to North City Preschool. In addition, teachers are certified in emergency medical procedures, have passed extensive background clearances, and are all qualified preschool teachers.

Beautiful Property - North City Preschool ’s newly remodeled facility is nestled near a lush grove of oak and eucalyptus trees. A fun and specially designed playground was built to create positive interactive play among preschool children. In addition, our facility is an open-school that welcomes parents to observe their children whenever they choose.

Balanced Classrooms - Orderly and nurturing, our classrooms allow us to offer a variety of academic and non-academic teaching. We seek to enrich each child’s life by exposing him or her to a variety of activities. Our goal is to assign one teacher to no more than twelve children.



ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

North City Preschool is licensed by the State of California, Department of Social Services, to serve children ages 2 years, 9 months to 6 years of age. Our school admits students of all races, colors, religions, national and ethnic origins with all rights and privileges to all programs and activities. We ask that your child be toilet trained.

Snack Time - A healthy snack and fruit juice is served during each session. We will accomodate any food allergies.

Registration Fee - An annual fee of $100 is required for enrollment for each child.



MONTHLY PROGRAMS AND TUITION

Morning Preschool: 9:00am to 11:30am.

Lunch Bunch Program: 11:30am to 12:30pm

 

Afternoon Preschool: 1:00pm to 3:30pm
      - Tuesday and Thursday - $160

Tuition is due the first day of each month.

 

Extended Day Program: 12:30 to 3:00 pm - This option is available Monday through Thursday to 24 morning children only. You may choose to add this to your child’s regular schedule and pay the additional fee with your tuition. However, you may choose it on a sporadic, drop-in basis and pay the fee at that time. The daily fee is $10.00 per day. The schedule is as follows:

North City Preschool is a state licensed, non-profit preschool that is an outreach of North City Presbyterian Church. Our mission is to provide an environment where children can develop spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and socially. Our purpose is to provide a Christ-centered approach to life and learning in a warm, accepting and Bible-based environment.
